Manhattan Flower Scrapbook Page #2

Here is the second page, here is the fam....yes all the kiddos are mine, I usually only get credit for the little blondie on my lap, ( I had to pray really hard for this one, I was tired of not getting any credit ) and Gabe had all the others all by himself! haha .... I Love having a large FAMILY!

The letters on here are from the Loads of Letters chipboard pk ( #112084 which also has 2 other font stlyes in pk) I used Choc. Chip ink to cover then embossed using Irridescent Ice powder, just for a bit of sparkle.

Sorry, I know I said I would post page 2 today but I am not quite finished...... so today you get my submission for the Design Team Challenge #17 for the Late Night Stampers Group, Here I have used the Glossy White Paper from Stampin' Up! May is National Scrapbooking month!

In honor of National Scrapbooking Month, I have dug out my unfinished scrapbooks and have decided to get back to it, Heres the first 1, Easter 2000!! I am waaayyy behind!

Bleaching

Here I have used the watercoloring technique seen on Patty Bennetts blog seen here, The background was done with a bleaching technique,

Just put a small ammount of bleach on a tray, I used a paper towell to soak it up (leave paper towell in tray) then just gently tap your stamp onto paper towell. Gently stamp on cardstock, Neat huh?

Manhattan Flower, Try this Technique!!

Start with a couple of reinkers on a tray, you will also need the aqua painter.

Use the Aqua Painter to pick up the ink and color ONTO the Embossing Folder, ( The side where the flower outline is not raised ) when finished give it a Huff to remoisten ink

Add your cardstock, and run it through the Big Shot.

Here it is. Be sure to rinse the ink off of your folder.

Cut it out,




And layer behind a piece of Vellum, That had also been dry embossed with the folder, Add to card front

Scrapbooking Starter Kit orders may be submitted either through the Online Independent Demonstrator Agreement (IDA) or mailed to Stampin' Up! at the following address:

The business supplies in the promotional Scrapbooking Starter Kit are the same business supplies that are in the existing Starter Kit; no alternative selections can be made for business items.


New recruits have the option of purchasing either the standard $199 Starter Kit OR the $75 Scrapbooking Starter Kit with a different product offering.
Sizzix will be sending an e-mail to their approximately 250,000 e-newsletter subscribers the first part of May. Included in this messaging will be an invitation to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator with the $75 Scrapbooking Starter Kit.


The standard Starter Kit ($199) will continue to be available during this promotional period. On the Online IDA, the promotional Scrapbooking Starter Kit will appear as an additional option.
Recruits who join Stampin' Up! by purchasing the Scrapbooking Starter Kit are still eligible for any programs available to a new recruit. This includes but is not limited to the Extra 10% Instant Income offer, Stampin' Start, and the opportunity to purchase a Business Booster Kit.
A Starter Kit Order Form for the $75 Scrapbooking Starter Kit will be available for download on the Demonstrator Web Site, but will not be available for purchase as a supply item.
Demonstrators choosing the Scrapbooking Starter Kit may still purchase the Stampin' Memories Add-On for the regular price.
The Scrapbooking Starter Kit is not available for purchase by active demonstrators. This kit is only available to new recruits.
New recruits who purchase the standard Starter Kit may not purchase the Scrapbooking Starter Kit. Instead, they may purchase the Stampin' Memories Add-On for an additional $50.
